This Mozilla Thunderbird Extension displays the context (thread) of the currently displayed message.

1.1.595 (ThreadVis_Release_1.1.595, Jannuary 10, 2009)

New caching backend using a SQLite database. Expect a massive speedup in thread calculation, especially for very large mailboxes.
Ability to abort/restart initial, long-running thread calculation. Closing Thunderbird while a calculation is running preserves already calculated messages and automatically continues the next time Thunderbird is started.
Released under the GNU AGPLv3.

The latest stable release is also available on addons.mozilla.org.

This extension was part of my Master's Thesis titled "ThreadVis for Thunderbird: A Thread Visualisation Extension for the Mozilla Thunderbird Email Client" at the Institute for Information Systems and Computer Media, Graz University of Technology, supervised by Ao.Univ.-Prof. Keith Andrews.
